For this segment of Students with Stories, JoLeigh Young interviewed Anna Dean, a senior Media Communications major, who is in her last semester at West Liberty University, about her troubles with health while she was in high school. Anna is a local from Wheeling attended Wheeling Park High School, where she graduated in 2017. She talks about  finding out about her illness, Clostridium Difficile, and what that entailed, the struggles of getting back into the school routine after her time in the hospital, and how that experience affected her transition into college life. Anna also details how she came to be a Media Communications major after changing it from another. She speaks about switching from West Virginia University to West Liberty University and her dream to one day become a host for a podcast, where she’d like to write and narrate her own stories.
