Michael Jesse is a current Instructor of Finance within the College of Business at West Liberty University. In the first section of the interview, we had a discussion considering what provided Professor Jesse with a passion for business. We ended up discussing his previous goal to pilot planes, his first job out of college, and what year he joined West Liberty University. During the second section of the interview, we discussed what majors Professor Jesse teaches for as well as whether or not he prefers to teach business or finance courses. We also talked about how the business and finance courses go hand in hand. We discussed the incredible importance of beginning to budget and save early, considering the decreasing amount of pension plans. Michael Jesse ends with a discussion about his passion for finance and how it affects everyone’s future, especially in consideration to retiring.
