James Salvatori was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. James attended Wheeling Park High School and graduated in 2021 and was a four-year varsity starter in Golf and Baseball. After graduating high school James attended West Liberty University majoring in Digital Media Design and pursued his passion for baseball by joining the team on campus. 

James is a junior pursuing a degree in Visual Communications: Digital media design and is a resident assistant on campus. After graduating James is looking to become a video editor or web designer for a major sports team.

Some of James’s hobbies include creative writing, television shows, video games, golf, and baseball. James hopes to eventually be able to write his book during his lifetime. His favorite television shows are animated shows like Attack On Titan and Demon Slayer. Some of his favorite video games too are anything in the  Pokemon franchise. James’s favorite sport is baseball and his favorite team is the Pittsburgh Pirates followed by the Baltimore Orioles, on the golf side his favorite golfer is Rory Mcllroy. James also played four years of golf in high school and was on the All-Tournament team his senior year. 

James hopes that by working with WGLZ he aims to become proficient in hosting interviews live on air along with production behind the scenes. With these skills, he also hopes that this will help him with producing interviews in person in front of a camera.
