Caleb Hedrick is a Music Technology major at West Liberty University. Much of his time is spent in the campus recording studio, but this semester, he’s very excited to be branching out to the radio station. Hedrick’s studies range from music production to audio engineering to live sound mixing, and after he graduates, he hopes to find work in a recording studio. Having grown up in Wheeling, Caleb has had plenty of opportunity to explore the local landscapes, and he considers himself somewhat of an adventurer. His experiences traversing both rural and urban settings have been a heavy influence on his artistic style. Hedrick is also a game enthusiast. Unsurprisingly, his favorite games to play are the ones with vast interactive landscapes and compelling narratives. He hopes to one day have the privilege of composing the score for a video game.
College radio is an exceptionally new experience to Hedrick, but he’s anticipating it to be a rewarding one. He hopes to be able to use it as an outlet where he can both express his personal musical interests and learn to appreciate those that he has yet to personally explore. Hedrick is actively seeking opportunities to better himself and to gain knowledge and experience as an engineer and a producer. He is looking to branch out into the professional world of music, and is open to continuing his knowledge in a multi-faceted music career.
