All items should be identified as items to be stored. and be labeled with the name of the resident who is in possession. Additionally, apartments are still expected to be cleaned for safety purposes prior as part of the move out process.
Students in apartments not returning to the same apartment, or in residence halls, may be approved for storage in one of the common area storage facilities. Storage will be limited in these locations to no more than two small furniture items (i.e. refrigerator, chair, microwave, etc.) and three closed plastic bins or boxes. All items must be labeled with the name of the resident who is in possession.
For items stored in any campus location, the owner of the property will assume the risk of damage or loss of items. The University is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal property left in storage locations.
