Students applying for admission to West Liberty University for the spring, summer or fall terms in 2021 may submit their application for consideration without an SAT or ACT score.

- 4 years of English
- 3 Social Sciences (one must be US History)
- 3 Sciences (all 3 must be lab sciences)
- 4 Math (3 must be Algebra I or MATH I and higher)
- 2 Foreign Language (2 units of the same foreign language)

Select academic programs will require a test score for Direct Admission. This is due to the competitive nature of some majors, or limited space. Please check out the test requirements for the various programs by visiting the Academics Majors/Programs of Study list.
Students who are accepted on the basis of the test optional alternative may still provide a test score up until August 21, 2021 (beginning of the fall 2021 semester), and are encouraged to do so in order to qualify for direct admissions into certain majors/programs as well as for scholarship eligibility. Scholarship criteria can be found by visiting the Academic Scholarship page.
