How to Apply and Forms

Complete the FAFSA with West Liberty’s school code: 003823.

Complete the Entrance Counseling and Subsidized / Unsubsidized Loan MPN for the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan.  Step by step instructions for these online forms can be found by clicking here.  

Complete the 2024 Summer Aid Application for summer aid *Physician Assistant students do not need to complete this form*.

Complete any additional forms requested by the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible.

Once your financial aid has been packaged, log into your WINS9 account and accept your aid.

1. 1. 1. Log into WINS 9.
      2. Click the blue “Financial Aid” link midway down the menu list.
      3. Once on the main Financial Aid page, click the “Award Offer” option in the tabs across the top of the screen.
      4. Choose the appropriate academic year from the “Award Year” drop down box in the top right corner. 
      5. Carefully review your Award Offer.
      6. Choose “Accept” or “Decline” from the drop down boxes for all funds that are listed as “Select” in the “Take Action” columns under both the “Grants and Scholarships to Pay for College” section and the “Loans” section.
      7. Submit.
      8. You will see a green confirmation box in the top right corner populate once the submit button is selected.
