Below is an example of what your Financial Aid Estimate Letter from West Liberty University Financial Aid Office could look like. The office hopes this page will help you understand your estimated offer.
Financial Aid Estimate Letter Analyzer
Budget for Aid Year
This section of your financial aid letter shows the budget you are eligible to receive aid for. The costs are estimates based on the current academic year. Costs will be updated once finalized in late May. You will only be billed Direct Costs by West Liberty University – tuition and fees and housing and food, if living on campus. All other stated costs above are estimated of indirect costs you may incur during the academic year. The student will not be charged by West Liberty University for these costs.
FAFSA Response
Through out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA), students answered multiple questions. Those answers then determine available aid, budget, and more for their financial aid. This section will let you know what you indicated on your FAFSA. Should this need updated for West Liberty University, you can do so by either logging back into your FAFSA or contacting the office with the updated information.
Available Aid
This section of the financial aid letter will show you all the aid offered for the academic year broken down by each semester, including a yearly total at the bottom. As students have changes to their available financial aid awarded, a revised letter will be issued and a notification will be sent.
Sign and Return
New students are required to sign, accept/deny and return their Financial Aid Estimate Letter.
