High School Equivalency

Non-high school graduates who meet their home state’s requirements for granting the high school equivalency will need to submit the appropriate documentation. Students who have taken the TASC, GED or HiSET should request the diploma and scores be mailed to the Admissions Office.

Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) – score of 500 on each of the five subtest categories
General Equivalency Degree (GED) – average standard score of 2250 (450) or above
HiSET exam – minimum score of 45

For the state of West Virginia, students may visit the West Virginia Department of Education for more information.

If the diploma was awarded within the past five years, applicants are also required to take the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
