The Teacher Education Program at West Liberty University would like to welcome prospective teacher candidates. 

Community Education

Welcome to our new and exciting Accelerated 3-Year BA in Community Education Program! RETURN, REDISCOVER, RECONNECT to the global community as a non-formal educator for lifelong learners on a local, national, and international level.

Exercise Physiology

The goal of the Exercise Physiology Degree Program at West Liberty University is to reflect those of the American Society of Exercise Physiologists (ASEP) as well as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), while providing students with a solid foundation in factual and conceptual mastery of human movement study.

Master of Arts in Education

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program at WLU is a 30 credit hour program which includes 12 credit hours of required education common core courses and 18 credit hours of courses in the student’s area of emphasis. 

Master of Science in Exercise Physiology (MSEP)

The Master of Science in Exercise Physiology (MSEP) is designed for students who are interested in careers in Exercise Physiology or related fields in which this certification and title are applicable. This is a 38-hour program that spans over two years.

Doctor of Education

 This program will conduct practice-based research with a dissertation that you can implement in your current or new career. Throughout this program, you will work on your dissertation from the day you start to the day you graduate.
