The Cool Camp is looking for interested applicants in a teaching position for the camp. Some of the responsibilities of a Cool Camp teacher include: helping to serve meals to students, supervising and administering fun and educational activities, supervising field trips and weekly pool trips to the local pool, etc. It is a 40-hour a week job. The Cool Camp daily hours are 9 am – 4 pm, however as a teacher you would be required to work some before and after care hours. For most of these requirements other than the references, being a college student, and having experience will children, as long as they can see that you are making an attempt to receive these certifications at the time of the interview you should be okay.

If you would like to apply for the position as a teacher at the camp, you will need to turn in a typed resume. Individuals interested in applying may want to simply take their resume in and deliver it personally rather than waiting for it to be sent in the mail, as this can be a rather slow process. As said above, you will need a resume with at least two personal references with contact information, and two professional references with contact information. The directors of Glen Dale Child Development Center’s names are Rita and Debbie. Once again, to save time please print off your resume and deliver it personally. Once the CDC directors receive your resume they will call you to schedule an interview, then after reviewing all the applicants they will call you and let you know if got the position.
