Integrated STEAM Teaching

The Integrated STEAM Teaching concentration prepares educators to design and deliver innovative, inquiry-based instruction that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics across K–12 classrooms. This concentration emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, equipping candidates to foster deep engagement and problem-solving skills in diverse learners.

By combining scientific inquiry, engineering design, mathematical reasoning, arts leadership, and inclusive teaching practices, the program develops educators who can bridge disciplinary boundaries and inspire students to connect knowledge with real-world applications. Candidates also explore strategies for collaborative teaching and policy advocacy, ensuring they are prepared to lead STEAM initiatives at both classroom and school-wide levels.
