Inclusive and Trauma-Responsive Teaching

The Inclusive and Trauma-Responsive Teaching concentration is designed to prepare educators to meet the diverse needs of learners by blending advanced knowledge in autism spectrum disorders, collaborative practices, applied behavior analysis, and trauma-informed pedagogy. This concentration equips candidates with the expertise to create safe, supportive, and inclusive classrooms where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Grounded in evidence-based practices and current research, the program emphasizes understanding students through both disability-specific and trauma-responsive lenses.
