Toastmasters of Western Pennsylvania/District 13 will conduct a demonstration meeting for a new club at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the West Liberty University Highlands Center. Anyone interested in Toastmasters is invited to attend.
“West Liberty University is pleased to give area residents the opportunity to participate in Toastmasters,” Jeff Knierim, vice president for community engagement explained. He added, “Toastmasters is a great way to learn good communication and leadership skills in a supportive, relaxed and fun atmosphere.”
The club plans to meet on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. The club web site is: westliberty.toastmastersclubs.org. The WLU Highlands Center is located across from the Marquee Cinemas, at 355 Wharton Circle.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
