Today marks the completion of six years with President Robin C. Capehart at the helm of West Liberty University. When President Capehart took on the leadership role in July 2007, WL was simply a college, now the changes and advances experienced on the campus include the achievement of University status.
Other important accomplishments during Capehart’s tenure that are celebrating anniversaries today include the 2012 groundbreaking of the $23-million Campbell Hall of Health Sciences, scheduled to open in fall 2013, and the inaugural class of Physician Assistants’ arrival on the Hilltop last July 1. The second class of PAs are being welcomed to campus today!
Wheeling media covered President’s Capehart’s anniversary with this June 29, Page One interview, that ran in the Wheeling Intelligencer.
Additionally, a June 30 Editorial was published in the Wheeling News-Register.
