The West Liberty University Economics Club Center for Economic Philosophy will welcome noted economist Alexander “Sasha” Volokh as the next speaker in its series of discussions on the significant business issues of the day.
The program will be held at noon on Aug. 18 at the Fort Henry Club, 1324 Chapline St., Wheeling. The ticket price of $10 includes lunch.
Volokh will speak on the subject of “Privatization and its Discontents.” He is an assistant professor at the Emory Law School in Atlanta. He earned a law degree and a Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University and is considered an authority on the private management of government services, administrative law, statutory law and related economic matters.
