The West Liberty University Concert Choir continues its annual Spring Tour with a performance at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling, W.Va., on Wednesday, May 16, at 7 p.m.
“Exsultate Deo,” by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina opens the program. The Concert Choir will continue with a selection of music dating from the 16 th through the 21st centuries including pieces from Johann Pachelbel and Johann Sebastian Bach as well as poetry by Christina Rossetti.
In addition to the concert at Vance Memorial Church, the WLU Concert Choir has performances scheduled in Southeastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, the Northern and Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, and Western Maryland.
Choir personnel include Michael Anderson, Celesta Berga, Ashley Carroll, Alan Cline, Kyle Cook, Michael Matthias Dotson, Amanda Goodfellow, Gregory Gust, Cassandra Hackbart, Christopher Hardy, Brittany Kimball, Erin Mazzocca, Mitchell Moon, Laura Mullins, Michael Murphy, Daniel Nixon, Anthony Panebianco, Graham Parks, Lois Alexandra Perkins, Hillary Sayre, Kassidy Grace Wells, and Timothi Williams.
In May 2013 the Concert Choir will travel to Northern Europe for performances in Russia, Estonia, and Latvia. Tax deductible contributions to help fund the trip may be made to the West Liberty University Foundation, 208 University Drive, College Union Box 126, West Liberty, WV 26074.

The Concert Choir is under the direction of Director of Choral Activities Alfred R. de Jaager. The concerts are free and open to the public.
