MBA Project Management Concentration

The Project Management concentration within our MBA program equips students with a powerful combination of leadership acumen, analytical skills, and innovative thinking. Project Management Specialists

Project management specialists coordinate the budget, schedule, staffing, and other details of a project.

The median annual wage for project management specialists was $100,750 in May 2024.

Employment of project management specialists is projected to grow 7 percent from 2023 to 2033, faster than the average for all occupations.

About 77,000 openings for project management specialists are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.

Computer and Information Systems Managers

Computer and information systems managers plan, coordinate, and direct computer-related activities in an organization.

The median annual wage for computer and information systems managers was $171,200 in May 2024.

Employment of computer and information systems managers is projected to grow 17 percent from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations.

About 54,700 openings for computer and information systems managers are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.

Construction Managers

Construction managers plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.

The median annual wage for construction managers was $106,980 in May 2024.

Employment of construction managers is projected to grow 9 percent from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations.

About 45,800 openings for construction managers are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
