Shane T. Stack has been named director of alumni relations at his alma mater, West Liberty University.
Stack also serves as program director for the WLU Research Corporation and treasurer for the town of West Liberty.
“It is very important for us to bring the alumni together to support West Liberty,” Stack said.
“I hope to take the Alumni Association to new levels in the areas of engagement, networking, mentoring and fundraising,” he added.
As a student at WLU, where he studied business administration, the Powhatan Point, Ohio, native served two years as student body president and student representative to the WLU Board of Governors.
President Robin C. Capehart said, “We are pleased to announce that Shane will be working with our alumni, as they are an invaluable part of the university’s mission and growth.”
Stack noted, “I have spent one-third of my life at WLU. This university and the West Liberty community have given me so much and I am honored to repay them through this new opportunity as director of alumni relations.”
