“I am pleased to be selected as executive director and proud to serve West Liberty University for the second time in my professional career. We have much to do as we seek to strengthen our support of higher education in the Northern Panhandle. West Liberty University has been a statewide leader in education since 1837 and I’m excited to work with the Foundation Board as we advance the university’s mission,” said Zambito-Hill, who is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

Prior to accepting the WLU Foundation position, Zambito-Hill served as advancement director at Corpus Christi School for one year. Before that, she served as executive director of development in WLU’s Department of Institutional Advancement, after joining the university in 2010 as development officer, then advancing to director of major gifts.

Before joining West Liberty University in 2010, she was director of development for Catholic Charities West Virginia of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. Early in her career, she worked in development at Oglebay Institute, Wheeling.

New board member Anissa Anderson is a 1993 and 1994 graduate of WLU, with degrees in dental hygiene. She then earned a master’s of orthodontics and a doctoral degree in dental surgery at West Virginia University, where she formerly served as a member of the faculty. She continues to lecture at state, national and international conferences.

After graduation, he spent three years in the United States Navy, one in Vietnam, and was awarded several service medals. Afterwards, he spent 20 years at Ryder Systems with successive promotions that led him to corporate headquarters in Miami, where he worked in their national marketing department.

In 1989, he was recruited by A&F Transportation Co. where he took advantage of an opportunity to buy the business. He focused the company’s efforts on final mile logistics for major big box retailers like Sears and Home Depot.

In 2001, he renamed the company FSA Network Inc.

A member of the Hilltopper Athletics Hall of Fame, Coffaro won the javelin event in three straight WVIAC Championship meets despite being self-taught. Coffaro also placed in the high jump and discus at the 1975 and 1976 WVIAC Championship meets to help extend the Hilltoppers title run.
