A general planning meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14 at Elbin Library, West Liberty University, to address the future of both the town and WLU and to begin a strategic planning effort.
“Make your voice heard and attend this important public meeting. Everyone interested in the continued growth and improvement of West Liberty is encouraged to attend,” said WLU Vice President of Community Engagement Jeff Knierim.
The meeting will include a moderated discussion with input from both town and University representatives. West Liberty Mayor Craig Conway and WLU Social Work Professor Sylvia Senften will facilitate the discussion.
The agenda includes a discussion of strengths and weaknesses of the community and how the University and town can actively plan for the future.
