West Liberty University employees have been honored at two recent campus events for their job performance and years of service. At the classified staff picnic in August, Ray Tredway, lead landscape worker in the maintenance department, received the Harry and Constance Hine Classified Staff Recognition Award. That award and a $1,000 savings bond go to the employee who has performed his or her duties with excellence while demonstrating loyalty and devotion to the goals and purposes of the university.
A number of faculty and staff members were recognized at the convocation on Aug. 24 for their years of service to WLU and for excellence in job performance. Provost Anthony Koyzis presented the Excellence in Professional Activity award to biology instructor Zachary Loughman. Michelle Panepucci, assistant int Admissions Assistant III, received the Excellence in Classified Staff Service award.
