West Liberty University’s “Community University,” a unique learning opportunity for adults over the age of 50, is still accepting new students.
“Registration is ongoing,” WLU Vice President of Community Engagement Jeff Knierim said. “We offer a several interesting classes on a wide range of topics, all of which will be held at our convenient Highlands center.”
He added that a fee of $25 covers as many classes as one may wish to take during the spring term, which begins March 28. Course subjects include the Civil War, American history and politics, wine tasting, social media, improving communication skills, motorcycling, ocean cruising, entrepreneurship, the philosopher Elbert Hubbard, marketing and World War II movies.
