The Lady Hilltoppers, assisted by Head Coach Lynn Ullom and Assistant Coach Kyle Cooper, will host the West Liberty University Girls’ Basketball Camp from July 13-16 at the Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC) at West Liberty University’s main campus.
The camp will focus on individual skill development and will be open to all girls entering grades three through nine in the fall. Each day will include age-specific skill development station drills along with multiple games and contests allowing each individual the opportunity to put those skills to the test in game situations.
The camp will also include swim breaks in the afternoon before returning to the ASRC for evening games and activities. Evening events, following games, include movie night, a camp social and plenty of interaction with the Lady Hilltoppers who will be staying in the dorms with overnight campers.
Coach Ullom’s Lady Hilltoppers came on strong down the stretch this winter to finish 20-11 and earn runner-up laurels in their first season of Mountain East Conference competition and a bid to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament. It was the 16th 20-win season for the perennial Atlantic Region power and the 12th NCAA Division II regional tournament berth of the Ullom Era.
Cost of the camp is $200 for commuter campers and $250 for those staying overnight. All campers must have proof of insurance and a recent physical.
