The Center for Economic Philosophy at West Liberty University and the University Economics Club is sponsoring a lecture series luncheon featuring Jonah Goldberg, best-selling author and founding editor of National Review Online. The lecture series is presented on Thursday, April 19 at noon at the River City Ale Works in downtown Wheeling, W.Va. Price of admission is $10 and includes a buffet lunch.
Goldberg, founding editor of National Review Online, is one of the most prominent and accomplished young conservative journalists today. With his columns appearing in syndication in newspapers across the country, Goldberg has quickly become a conservative voice with which to be reckoned.
His first book, “Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning,” was a number-one New York Times and Amazon bestseller, and was the most controversial book of 2008. His new book, to be released in May, is entitled, “The Tyranny of Cliches – How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas.”
Goldberg serves as a Visiting Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute. He is also a member of USA Today’s Board of Contributors.
Reservations for the luncheon may be made by contacting Jeff Knierim, WLU Vice President for Community Engagement, at (304)336-8301 or via email at jknierim@westliberty.edu. The lecture series is made possible through a grant from BB&T.
