West Liberty University Development Director Angela Zambito-Hill has been accredited a fundraising executive by Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) International and now joins an elite group of six other CFREs in the Mountain State.
In order to achieve certification, candidates must submit application and pass a rigorous written examination. The application works on a point system broken down into four categories: education, professional practice, professional performance and service. CFREs also have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.
CFRE International offers the only recognized baseline credential for philanthropic fundraising executives and supports fundraising professionals to aspire to the highest standards of professional competence and ethical practice in serving the philanthropic sector. The CFRE credential is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
