WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., June 15, 2017 — West Liberty University’s Gary E. West College of Business earned a renewal of accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) recently. The accreditation is valid for a full seven years, which is the maximum length of time for IACBE renewals of accreditation.
“We are pleased to report that the IACBE Board of Commissioners approved our request and found our undergraduate programs to be in compliance with IACBE principles,” said S. Michael “Mike” Turrentine, dean of the College of Business. “I also want to thank Craig Crow for his leadership on the accreditation team and excellence in reporting.”
Crow, who is an associate professor of management at the College of Business, served as the assessment coordinator and prepared the accreditation report and lengthy self-study required by the IACBE. He was notified of the accreditation in a letter, dated May 15.
The renewal was made at the IACBE Board of Commissioners’ April meeting in San Francisco.
According to the IACBE, “the Gary E.
