It is time for WLU Art Faculty and students to spend five days in the art capitol of the world, New York City. Highlight from past trips include a visit to the legendary Pushpin Studios to meet design icon Seymour Chwast, walking tour and artist studio visits in DUMBO and seeing Matthew Barney’s Cremaster Cycle at the Guggenheim museum. Other activities include museum visits, gallery visits in Manhattan and Brooklyn, going to the theater and taking in the sites, sounds, tastes and smells of New York. Students and faculty leave for NYC on Wednesday March 16th and return March 20th
The 2011 trip is free for students and made possible by a grant from the Dean of the College of Arts and Communication, Dr. Bill Baronak.
