Background

Dr. Spencer is from Braxton County, WV. She brings to the program over 40 years as a physician assistant. Her PA academic experience includes clinical coordinator, Director of the A-B online BS to MS Completion Program, Assistant Professor teaching many subjects including Clinical Correlation to Gross Anatomy, Clinical Skills, Physical Diagnosis, Dermatology, EKG, Orthopedics, and Nutrition. She served as the A-B Interim Program Director and the Louis A. Johnson VAMC Interim Program Director for the Mental Health Residency Program.

Clinically, she has decades of experience, mostly in Primary Care with a passion for serving rural and medically underserved areas and Veterans.

She enjoys spending time in her greenhouse and playing the piano and singing.
