We are also the only West Virginia state assisted institution that offers a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Biological Sciences

Graduates from WLU’s biology program have many exciting opportunities. Many of our graduates can be found working with the environment, wildlife, botany, laboratory services, agriculture, or other science-related professions.

Health Sciences

You’ll benefit from hands-on training, a team of expert faculty, and patient-focused programs. No matter which of our many programs you choose, we are here to help you build your healthcare career.

MA/MS Biology

The Masters Programs for Biology Majors at West Liberty University is designed to offer a flexible curriculum that meets the needs of students locally, nationally, and internationally. Students will enhance their educational and employment opportunities in the biological sciences.

Physician Assistant

The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree is a 24-month program which begins in July is divided into didactic and clinical sections.

Physical Sciences and Mathematics

The Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics prepares students for graduate work and professional careers. Our program equips students with mastery in math and science to solve real-world problems.

Zoo Science

Students will learn from zoo professionals and will be exposed to a variety of animal care facilities including small and large zoos and aquariums, conservation centers, nature centers, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and fish hatcheries.
