Requirements for Progression/Graduation
Didactic Phase Comprehensive Evaluation: Occurs at the end of the 1st year (June)
In order for a student to progress to the Senior Year (year 2), the student must:
- Pass all courses with a minimum passing grade of “C.”
- Have an overall GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pass a graded OSCE.
- Pass the comprehensive, written examination.
- Pass all decision points.
- Meet all professional requirements.
- Be recommended by the Student Progress Committee for advancement to the senior year.
Clinical Phase Summative Evaluation: Occurs at the end of the program (June).
In order for the student to graduate from the program, the student must:
- Pass all courses with a minimum passing grade of “C.”
- Pass all clinical clerkships with a “Satisfactory” grade.
- Receive a passing “P” grade in Professional Issues II.
- Have an overall GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pass a graded OSCE.
- Pass the summative, written examination.
- Complete final two weeks’ clinical year of on-campus instruction/testing/study/PANCE prep.
- Pass all decision points.
- Meet all professional requirements.
- Be recommended by the Student Progress Committee for graduation from the program.
- Meet all of the University’s requirements for graduation (tuition paid up-to-date/successful check-out).
