Requirements for Progression/Graduation
Didactic Phase Comprehensive Evaluation: Occurs at the end of the 1st year (June)
In order for a student to progress to the Senior Year (year 2), the student must:
- Pass all courses with a minimum passing grade of “C.”
- Have an overall GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pass a graded OSCE.
- Pass the comprehensive, written examination.
- Pass all decision points.
- Meet all professionalism requirements.
- Be recommended by the student progress committee (SPC) for advancement to the clinical year.
Clinical Phase Summative Evaluation: Occurs at the end of the program (June).
In order for the student to graduate from the program, the student must:
- Pass all courses with a minimum passing grade of “C.”
- Have an overall GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pass all clinical clerkships
- Receive a passing grade in Professional Issues II.
- Pass a summative graded OSCE.
- Pass the summative, written examination.
- Complete on-campus, two-week Summit.
- Pass all decision points.
- Meet all professionalism requirements.
- Be endorsed by the SPC as meeting program competencies and be recommended by SPC for graduation from the program.
- Meet all of university requirements for graduation (tuition paid up-to-date/successful check-out).

Maximum time to program completion in cases of leave of absence and/or
deceleration may not exceed 48 months.
