Professor’s Poems Published Online

September 26, 2016 By Nicole N

Dr. Dave Thomas has recently had two of his poems published by Weelunk, an online magazine that features stories about the Wheeling area and the people who live there. Both poems feature local people. One, titled “just another warwood brat,” focuses on West Liberty State College’s former president, Clyde D. Campbell. It is a catalog of facts and observations about him, as well as a list of his characteristics. The second poem, titled “newspaper hawker,” describes the experiences of a man selling newspapers near Perkins on National Road in Wheeling.
