Hughes Lecture Series
For about 40 years, the Hughes Lecture Series has been inviting speakers to campus. From politicians to environmentalists to authors like Jeannette Walls and David Sheff, presenters offer a lecture and often work with students during their time on campus.

The College of Liberal and Creative Arts celebrated the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein with a series of events in 2018.
Hogwarts on the Hilltop
As part of an event series hosted by the College of Liberal and Creative Arts, Hogwarts on the Hilltop invited local high school students to campus in September 2018.

EME Soundscapes Concert

Nutting Gallery, Fine Arts Building, West Liberty UniversityThe WLU Electronic Music Ensemble presents "Soundscapes", an immersive concert experience. In conjunction with the WLU Geography and Planning Department, the EME will perform using audio derived from the "Wheeling Area Soundscape Project" by Dr. Robert Kruse and his student Jonah Harkness. The concert will occur in the Nutting Gallery and will feature multi-channel surround sound.
