Resume Writing: Part 2

Description: The Resume Writing: Part 2 Workshop teaches students strategies for writing effective descriptions of their work and volunteer experiences. This workshop will be most useful for students who have already started to draft their resumes.
Cover Letter Writing
Wednesday, April 11, 12:00-12:50pm

Description: The Cover Writing Workshop covers the basic components of a cover letter and introduces students to strategies for making their letters more compelling and persuasive.
Both workshops are open to all undergraduate and graduate students at West Liberty University, and both will be facilitated by Dr. Amanda Tennant, Director of the Writing Center. These workshops will be especially useful for students who are preparing to graduate and enter the workforce or who are working on applications for summer internships. Students do not need to attend both workshops in order to participate in one.
Each workshop will be capped at 20 students, so don’t forget to sign up soon! Please email Dr. Tennant with questions (amanda.tennant@westliberty.edu).
