On-Site Facilities and More!
- WLU’s ZOOsci program provides students with on-campus hands-on training to engage with animals in human care, in addition to opportunities to work with professional keepers at Oglebay’s Good Zoo, The Wilds, and other organizations.
- Our on-site facilities continue to grow each year along with our major. We have four main animal care labs that house over 30 species ranging from birds to reptiles. Highlighted animals include our Water Monitor, Tegus, Python, Geckos, Owl, Crayfish, and our mascot, Sweet Pea, the sloth!
