Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) WLU Collegiate Chapter

Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) is a volunteer-based organization which provides meaningful opportunities for women to build strong community connections while paying forward their success. These connections foster new careers and business building opportunities for our volunteers and help women find mentors and sponsors.  WELD‘s focus is on advancing women in leadership and working with them to achieve their career and business aspirations.  By establishing a West Liberty Collegiate chapter of WELD, we will have the ability to host 4 academic programs per year and will be assisted by WELD National to develop relevant topics and source speakers. Student volunteers assisting in these events will gain valuable experience and those in attendance have the opportunity to network and hone their leadership skills transferable to their life now and beyond.

For more information, please contact Professor Sherry Rocchio at srocchio@westliberty.edu, Professor Ingrid Loy at ingrid.loy@westliberty.edu, or Professor Christine DeWitt at christine.reilly-dewitt@westliberty.edu.
