Jack Wright, 53 assumed his current position in February 1986, and his headquarters are located in Follansbee, West Virginia.

Prior to his present position he was General Manager of Operations for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation with responsibility for the company’s steelmaking and finishing operations .  He began that position in 1981 after five years as Vice President-Purchases, Traffic and Raw Materials.  A veteran of 27 years experience with Wheeling-Pittsburgh, he started his career in 1959 at the Yorkville Ohio Plant as a Practice Engineer.

Mr. Wright is a graduate of Lehigh University where he earned a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.  In May of 1983, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from Allegheny College.

He is a member of the American Iron and Steel Institute, the Board of Trustees of St. John Medical Center of Steubenville, a member of the Board of Directors of the Brooke National Bank, and on the Board of Advisors of the University of Steubenville.

Mr. Wright is a native of Wheeling where he currently resides with his family.
