Brian L. Crawford, Ph.D. is Provost of West Liberty University and a Professor of Geography. Before becoming Provost in February 2013, Dr. Crawford was Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at West Liberty and had previously served as Chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He holds a PhD in Geography from Indiana State University, an MS in Earth Science from California University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He served as a navigation specialist in the U.S. Navy and as a missile officer in the U.S. Air Force before retiring from active duty in 1996.
ASSISTANT PROVOST for Academic Innovation and Strategic Planning
Dr. Jeremy Larance is the Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation and Strategic Planning and a Professor of English at West Liberty University where he previously served as the Chair of the Department of Humanities and as the Chair of the General Studies Assessment Committee. He earned his doctorate in English from the University of Tulsa, his M.A. in English from Louisiana Tech University, and his BA in English from the University of the South (Sewanee).
Maureen Golick, MBA is Assistant to the Provost. She is a West Liberty University alumna, receiving a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree. Maureen earned her Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University in Washington, D.C., bringing more than 14 years of higher education experience to West Liberty University.
