Hello! My name is Dan and I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. I have known that I wanted to work in medicine ever since I realized how scary of a place it can be for some patients. Being a PA would give me the necessary skills and knowledge to alleviate some stress for my patients in potentially difficult times. I strive to become a provider that patients look forward to seeing for advice without the fear of judgement or dread of what is to come. I knew I could become this provider at WLU when I interviewed for the program and was taken aback by how personable and compassionate the faculty was. It is what drew me to the program, and I could not imagine going through it without them and their daily guidance. When I am not reading through PowerPoint slides, I love to rock climb, watch soccer, and spend quality time with my wife and two dogs!
