My name is Blake Wilcock, and I am from Tucson, Arizona. I graduated from Brigham Young University – Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Public Health. I am a sports enthusiast and have always loved learning about the human body, which fueled my interest in the medical field. Initially, I did not know where in medicine I would fit. However, since discovering the PA profession, becoming a PA has been the number one goal for me. I am excited to have the opportunity to sit down with patients of diverse backgrounds and assist them in their own efforts and goals to improve their health. The West Liberty Program has been great. The class size is small, which has allowed the professors to get to know you personally and assist you with any concerns or weaknesses that you may have. This has also made it easy for our class to not only establish strong friendships to support each other during the difficult didactic year but also you have a group of friends you can do things with outside of class.
