Hello, my name is Lauren! I am from McMurray, Pennsylvania which is just south of Pittsburgh. I graduated from Allegheny College with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, I worked for several years in a hospital surgical pathology lab where I worked alongside a different type of PA professional—a pathology assistant. These coworkers of mine are the ones that really helped guide me towards the physician assistant route. I was interested in a career that was more clinically based at the end of the day and they pointed me in the best direction. As I was looking for programs, West Liberty really stood out to me with the small class size and tight-knit facility family. They really want you to succeed and it shows.
