Destinee Frye
My name is Destinee Frye, and I graduated from West Liberty University with a B.S. in Human Biology. I was born and raised in Wheeling, WV, and I enjoyed being close to home during my undergraduate studies. Additionally, I fell in love with the campus community and small class sizes at WLU, as well as the compassion that emanated from the professors I interacted with. All of the professors at WLU are knowledgeable in their fields and genuinely care about providing quality education. This all compelled me to continue my graduate studies at WLU. From the time I was young, I aspired to pursue a career in the healthcare field, but I did not decide on the PA path until college. The healthcare experiences I gained throughout my undergraduate studies and personal experiences with healthcare issues within my family guided my decision to become a PA. The lateral mobility that comes with being a PA also appealed to me, as well as the team-oriented approach to providing healthcare. I am overjoyed and grateful for the opportunity to further my education at WLU as I have had nothing but wonderful experiences thus far.
