I have always been interested in medicine because of the congenital heart defect that I was diagnosed with at birth. I was constantly curious of my condition, which led to the realization that the human body is quite amazing. The PA profession is ideal because of the flexibility in specialties, as well as the ability to have a social life while receiving a good salary. I graduated from West Liberty University in 2018 with a degree in Human Biology. I chose the West Liberty PA Program because of the love I developed for the university during my undergraduate years, and the family-feel of the PA program. The small class sizes definitely contributed to my decision. Upon graduation, I see myself practicing in OB/GYN or family medicine.
