Hinton, WVI have experienced many sides of healthcare such as the business side, the pharmaceutical side, and the emergency medical services side but I have always desired more. I have been a lifelong advocate for others and being a PA will allow me to continue to help people but now on a higher level and not only make a difference in their lives but also in the community. I was encouraged by my son to pursue my dream of being a PA and I have not regretted that leap of faith even for a moment. While my route to West Liberty University may be different than most, I am thankful for the opportunity and grateful to those that realize life experience is quite valuable. The first day I visited WLU it felt like home. The faculty and staff are genuinely caring and helpful and the class size is small enough to feel like family. I look forward to becoming a member of the WLU PA Alumni Association.
