I am from Moundsville, WV and I graduated from West Liberty University in 2017 with a degree in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology. While I always knew that I wanted to have some type of career in the medical field, it was not until starting my job as an Emergency Medical Scribe during college that the option of the PA profession was made aware to me. In just a few short shifts in the Emergency Department, I knew that I was meant to be a PA. The compassion and dedication that I saw from physician assistants toward their patients was amazing. I love the opportunities that being a PA will provide me and that I will be able to make a difference in patient’s lives. I am happy to be back at West Liberty University and start my journey toward becoming a PA with the PA class of 2020.
