Background

Alex Franke joined the West Liberty University PA Program in December 2024 as Academic Coordinator and Assistant Professor. His clinical experience is in Acute Care, Trauma, and General Surgery. He was raised in Wheeling, WV and graduated from Wheeling Park High School. He is a proud alumnus of West Liberty University where he received his undergraduate and graduate education. While on the hilltop as a student, he was involved with the theatre program, residence life, and was a brother in the Theta Xi fraternity. He remains an active participant in the Hilltop Players, primarily in the area of lighting design. He is an avid reader, sports fan and enjoys being outdoors.
