NYC artist John Wellington spent two days working with students from the 2010 West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts. While at West Liberty, John focused on portrait painting in oils and did painting demonstrations of the anatomy of the head for the students. As a gift to West Liberty art students John left his demo panels behind to be used in future instruction. John Wellington teaches in the Graduate and Continuing Education programs at the New York Academy of Art in New York City. You can see more of John’s great work at johnwellington.com.
