The PR minor builds on foundational principles of PR by introducing best practices in PR writing and strategic management while allowing the student to have an emphasis in a number of disciplines; graphic design, journalism, communications, PR research and theory, and social media.
Students with a major in art, business, education, marketing, music, professional studies, etc. can benefit from a minor in PR by broadening their experience to include ethical PR principles and techniques and digital and social media principles and practices.
