My art is inspired by nature and the magnificent beauty of the world around me, while simultaneously serving as an expression of my inner world. I work in a wide range of materials- from digital art and photo editing to acrylics and 3D materials. My creative process involves thorough planning as well as deep self-reflection to find ways to tether a piece of myself and my experiences to each piece I create. As such, each finished artwork is a manifestation of my life, my values, and my dreams. Portfolio.

The reason why that I chose the graduate Art Therapy and Counseling Program is because I always loved helping other people no matter what the situation is the challenges that they are facing. I also receive help in the same way and I believe it is important to give back to others. I also love doing art, in general, and for various reasons. Art helps increase my self-esteem, confidence, and I always believe that art feels like therapy. My art instincts help me become a better problem solver when I do it. Sometimes people experience self-doubt and fear when they face a new challenge in art. I want to show that no matter the challenges or self-doubt we have, artwork expresses uniqueness, which has value and can inspire others. Portfolio.

I invite you to take a deep breath. Did you notice it? There is a moment before every inhale and after every exhale where there is complete stillness. For less than a millisecond, there is nothing. But although brief, that fleeting moment exists; and I have become quite connected to its presence. My personal meditation upon the absence of breath constitutes some element of transformation. A relationship between movement and growth merged with calmness and serenity transcends energy. And how can it be? That in that moment one is so still, yet utterly alive! This manifestation of energy is what stimulates my mind and inspires my creative handiwork. Portfolio.
